Lets get acquainted.

My name is Bojan and I want to introduce myself to you. I am from Serbia, former Yugoslavia, the country where we appreciate cousine and hospitality, tradition and beliefs and finally, that vital difference between fresh farmers products, the difference between real quality products and artificial ones. In our country, because it is not so big, but very vast with the resources- we have all the farmers available, and they supply ordinary neighborhood supermarkets. I’ve been living in Moscow for more than 15 years, during that time, while traveling and living in Russia, I got to know about different cousine, people, cultures and traditions, which I deeply value. The only problem here is that connection between farmers and people. That happened because of the historical facts, USSR economics and the actual distance between the capital and the regions.

Why am I telling you this? Well, it’s quite simple to explain. I am also a foreign citizen to Russian Federation and I know how difficult it is to find and purchase “real meat”, fresh products from milk or grocery. I am also aware, that it is quite hard to establish contacts with the people who got used to work and communicate in Russian. We all know, that these products are essential for our health, but the main reason is- their unique and fantastic taste.  We work or live here, and are in need of quality products. That's why I can tell you about, what we call in LavkaLavka- "The difference".

 I want to introduce you to that very difference, between gourmet network, and real fresh products. I work for the company called LavkaLavka. Our specialization is farmers products. We have our own connection including various farms and farmers all around Russia and even Greece (where the finest olive oil is delivered to us, as well as kalamon olives and prasines). We are no ordinary business. First of all, we are a friendly community, created by the people, who wanted to change and improve the whole gourmet system in Moscow. The people, who got tired of those unhealthy conditions for living in this multimillion city, the people, who know how to appreciate food and find  better solutions. Secondly, despite the fact, that we are creating this eco-friendly and eco-aware community, we are a serious business, doing everything possible to make you happy and satisfied.

About the products and our vision:

We work with more than 30 farmers all over Russia, who deliver their fresh produce to our special warehouse in Moscow. It is being done every week on- Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, which means, that every single product is really fresh and safe. Furthermore, all of our products have the necessary certificates of quality, even veterinary certificate, meaning, for instance, that every cow on the farm is healthy and that milk you get is- bacteria’s free and very tasty!

Before establishing connections with the farmers, we personally travel to them and try their products. After we make sure that they are tasty and meet the requirements, we start importing their produce. Our quality control is vital for us. We make sure that you, dear customers, get the finest.

Our range of products is really impressive. We have everything, starting from usual meat, grocery, milk, baking and vegetables, to extra quality products such as: meat pigeons, guinea fowl, goose, baked goose, so called Kalmitskaya lamb (the very same type that was served for government officials back in the USSR), extra quality pork, etc. etc.

Also, we are the only company by far, which works with farmers (Brodovskiy and Novichihin) who are officially certified by the EU, (EU standard eco) as ecologically clean farms. They produce pork and vegetables accordingly. For instance, our farmer, who produces a wide variety of delicious cheese, is from America, born in New York. Now he lives near Moscow and specializes on that produce, he is called Jay Klouse.

If you are fond of sweets, we have a very interesting woman, called Emma; she makes her cakes and brownies using our ecologically clean ingredients. Fruit, is not a problem as well. More than that, we have even-delicate dried berries.

About the orders:

- I am going to be your personal contact on this matter and make sure your order gets to you.  

- We are currently working on our English version web page and all of the orders are going to be automatic, with your own basket and history.

- Before that happens, I suggest you to browse our Russian web page (lavkalavka.ru), choose the products you like (as shown on the picture, for instance) and inform me, via e-mail, what you need.

- You can ask me any questions. I am more than glad to help you out, reply as soon as possible and give any necessary information.We want to make your life more healthy and easier.

Delivery days are:

Wednesday, Friday and Saturday (Daytime: 12 p.m till 19 p.m; Evening 20 p.m. till 24 p.m)

Our new feature:

Seasonal farmer basket. What it's all about?

We are offering to you, what has been already a common thing in London and New York, when people get fresh seasonal products on a weekly basis. Every product that you get has a transparent story of origin- where it was grown and in which conditions. The bonus of such a basket is that you don't have to enter our web-page regularly, you are just going to get the products when you want (wednesday,friday or saturday).

How it works?

You can choose your farmers basket from a few options: small, medium and large. (1500 rubles, 3000 rubles and 5000 rubles accordingly).

You can also decide, if your basket is going to be vegetarian or not. You can subscribe for it, as well, for a period of 4 weeks to a whole year. The payment can be done in a most suitable way, in advance, for the period of your order, or post factum, as you get the order. 

The advantage of pre payment is, that the farmers get the money beforehand, it enhances their production and life cycle of a farm. It is very important for them, so called- clarity of tomorrow. We are ordering from them, which means that we help farmers do their thing, we and us, can develop the whole agriculture by simply making such sort of payments. 

Pros and cons.

Every week the content of the basket can change- it depends on what exactly is seasonal and available, fresh right now! We also want to warn you beforehand, that if someone is not fond of such seasonal vegetables or fruit, (eggplant or blueberry, for instance) the basket is not for them. Also, the real price of a basket can shift, for a small amount of money, not more than 100 rubles. It happens, because every time it's a different product.

You are going to be pleased,  you will find in your basket something new and unexpected, but surely, amazingly tasty!

Example (Medium basket)

Most of the time, content is approximately like that:

1. Chicken- 2; Cottage cheese-0.5 kg; Milk-1l; Suluguni cheese- 0.3; Yogurt- 0.5l; Veal tenderloin- 1kg; Jam (all sorts)- 0.5; Eggs- 10; Carrot-1kg; Beets- 1kg; Eggplang- 1kg; Different kinds of salad- 100gr; Monastery kvas- 1l.

The basket can be different as well, depending on the season and weather. You can also inform me, if you are allergic to something, so we exclude that sort of product and add a different one. You can tell me, for instance, that you don't like yogurt, so we never put that in your order, etc, etc.

This farmers basket can be delivered weekly, every fortnight or every three weeks.

The freedom to choose is yours. I am always here to help and advice. I, personally think, that this form of order is more than easy and convenient, feel free to ask questions and try the basket. You can always refuse if you don't like it.

Note:

Because of the fact, that we are dealing with the farmer’s products and there are natural causes and production limit, some of the products you order can be missing. It happens quite seldom, but is crucial that you are informed. We NEVER replace our products with those you can buy in usual supermarkets.
